Don't blame @google: blame the users, who made that query overwhelmingly more often than yours - and Search just adapts.

I do blame
@google. Algorithms are not neutral and it's Google's fault if their algorithms learn from users' hate. -
In particular,
@google should not be suggesting racist, misogynist, homophobic, transphobic, Islamophobic, etc. queries... -
...especially when the original query by the user had no such ingredients.

I'm all for the eradication of "Showing results for" anyway, because it's disrespecting the user. For "did you mean", I dunno.

It's helpful when it corrects typos. Not so much when it radically changes meaning.
