The design does not seem _as_ bad (though still lots of stupid things), but it's fundamentally a "solution" to a non-problem.

from what I read the design is pretty much horrid, too many pitfalls. I still wonder why desktop people can't use AMQP.

Systems are robust and secure when apps are maximally isolated from each other and the env. Ubiquitous IPC/RPC is opposite of that

if you want some kind of ipc/rpc, but you want it simple and battle tested. Exactly the opposite of what they propose.
