one question I’ve heard asked: why hasn’t intel put more cores per chip? 14nm is ~4x more dense than 45nm, but still only 2-4 cores? [1/5]
Isn't that only an issue when your load would be memory bound if you reduced memory bandwidth by factor of 1/N?
