Can look at https://android.googlesource.com/brillo/manifest/+/master/default.xml … to see what it includes. It's a complete base platform for building small networked devices.

It doesn't directly do anything useful. It just provides a sane base with verified boot, ChromeOS-style delta updates and so on.

Android N moves closer to where they started with Brillo by using lots of minijail and switching to the ChromeOS update scheme.
