@profcarroll I agree the opt-out (vs opt-in) is highly problematic, but obstacle to changing setting for account you don't own seems good.
@RichFelker Even if broken opt-out worked, don't see harm letting users who self-identify as family members opt each other out of tracking.

@profcarroll I agree 100% that tracking is harmful, but it's harmful in and of itself, not cos it's difficult for 3rd parties to opt you out
