@RichFelker I reckon its similar to smartos emulation, Ubuntu are prepared to provide official support. Some bugs and some missing calls. -
@RichFelker so yes similar. I heard a rumour that emulated apache is faster than native IIS but who knows... -
@RichFelker but for using tools that don't compile natively it might be useful.

@pikhq@justincormack Yeah actually it sounds closer to FreeBSD's "Linux emulation" (syscall translation). Maybe even using FreeBSD code? :) -
