Using Alpine with Docker seems like its really convenient, but I am constantly butting heads with it. No glibc, different cli tools, etc.

@RichFelker@unserkaiser Aye, figured that out now. Sadly the thing I was untarring depends on glibc so I gave up and used debian -

@unserkaiser@RichFelker To be fair to Alpine Linux - it’s got a pretty big warning sticker saying “This uses musl, not glibc!”. -
@Keithamus@RichFelker gladly people seem to like fixing code to work with Alpine it seems so far. -
@unserkaiser@RichFelker Yes. It’s taking some real time, but hopefully we’ll see people relying less on glibc so alpine is usable!
