One consequence of @docker adopting @alpinelinux is we're going to see a lot of new @musllibc users who didn't arrive _intending_ to use it.

Not thinking so much about code/compat changes (altho there may be some cheap tweaks with major friendliness benefits) but docs/support/etc.
-
@RichFelker A bug tracker and a code submission / review tool like Gerrit. Mailing lists are intimidating and stuff ends up being forgotten. -
@CopperheadSec Yes, we very much need a bug/issue tracker. The volume of open requests has grown way beyond what's easy to track mentally.

@RichFelker@musllibc whatever it is, we at Docker would like to contribute to it. There's an opportunity to put our scale to good use. -
@solomonstre The first thing I can think of from your side that may be helpful is a heads-up for expected difficulties@docker users may hit -
@solomonstre Knowing in advance what@docker users might ask us about would help prepare good answers/advice/FAQ items. -
@solomonstre Keep in mind much of our dev base & community is not from a web dev/cloud infrastructure/etc. bg. We don't know all the sw used -
@RichFelker@solomonstre yes there are a lot of different languages and libs used, so bound to be issues. -
@RichFelker@solomonstre making it clear how to report and explaining relation between@alpinelinux,@musllibc so things go to right place
