did you know: in C, /calculating an address/ can be undefined behavior e.g. { int x[4]; &x[5] } // nasal demons here
@whitequark This would just constrain the impl in ways that are not useful to the programmer. Even if it were def'd, use would be dangerous.

@whitequark That doesn't even make conceptual sense. Pointers are not signed integers so how is "2s complement" involved at all?
