My light fuzzing of glibc's mbrtowc()/iswprint() on CentOS 6 had no luck finding printable multibyte chars with embedded '\n' in any locale
@solardiz I don't think any character sets with that property exist. Legacy CJK were all careful to avoid the C0 control range.

@RichFelker I hope so, but glibc bugs could exist anyway. I previously found some isprint()/iscntrl() weirdness in ancient glibc. -
@solardiz Yeah, the possibility of incorrectly accepting '\n' as a non-initial bye sounds a lot more plausible.
