@busterbcook@LibreSSL With atomics (C11 or GCC-compat) tho you can make your own call_once, substituting exp-backoff sleep for cond_wait. -
@RichFelker@LibreSSL even just wrapping in a static mutex would probably suffice, esp. since this is not a hot path.
