Open source folks: if you host your docs on an external site (i.e. not solely in a repo), make sure you set up Google Analytics. Seeing what pages your visitors are going to is really helpful and encouraging (cos now you know people are finding your docs).
Why would you put Google trackers on your site rather than just saving your own logs?

That also works, as does using a comparable tool from a different provider. Being able to view analytics in a UI is really helpful to me personally, and GA offers really good insights.
