First impressions with a real RPi: unpolished. By default it outputs some ridiculously-low-power HDMI signal nothing will detect. Had to dig up hdmi_force_hotplug=1 and config_hdmi_boost=9 to make it work.
Extra fun: Alpine Linux's aarch64 build has no packages. Starting over with armhf...

And for no apparent reason "dtparam=audio=on" has to be in the boot config file or sound doesn't work.

I'm guessing the pi-oriented distros just all do this random nonsense for you so nobody realizes how broken it is with standard Linux... *sigh*
