That thing when ld says “requires dynamic R_X86_64_PC32 reloc which may overflow at runtime” instead of “you didn't define the thing you used”, and I'm sure there's a meme joke for this but I don't care enough to make it.

I hate how often "extremely obtuse linker error" means "you made a very common mistake" (and also that I can identify several on sight)

Printing a list of "common mistakes leading to this error" would be great, but just renaming the error to the common mistake would have people ranting about the obviously-wrong, "dumbed-down" error message when the root cause wasn't the common mistake.
