With the @XYZprinting attack on @Creality3D it’s time I began removing XYZ related videos from my channel. Should have done this a while ago but I left them up to help the community fix their machines.

Exactly. And in that case this community pulled out all the stops in being as malicious and damaging as possible for a tiny infraction. That's why I'm saying, hold back, figure out what happened. You don't think
@XYZprinting is scared of this community? So why would they do this? -
Been dealing with them for 4 years. I know them well. They have fought the community at every turn. They put lockdowns in their firmware updates to stop people from resetting cartridges but all it did was hurt legitimate customers. Shut their machines down. No spare parts. Etc.
-
Well, I don't disagree. Any sort of DRM only hurts paying customers, but companies with IPs they feel they need to protect just never seem to get that.
-
XYZprinting has proven time and time again. They do not care about the community, they have no clue what "open source" is. Nor do they care. Also if you speak negative about them they threaten legal action against you.
-
@THEJATMN@3DPProfessor@ChuckHellebuyck@RichFelker@XYZprinting@Creality3D They can threaten all they like, There isn't anything they can actually do about it legally. -
Uhm they have a USA division and can take you to court for slander.
-
Bring it.
