Assuming you mean modern optical mice that use image sensing, rather than the early optical mice that required a special mousepad? I use Logitech Anywhere MX mice with laser darkfield sensing, which even work on glass and mirrors.

I've got a generic Monoprice one that's a clone of my classic PS2 Logitech ball mouse, but I rarely use it instead of touchpad so I hadn't noticed til now.
