Iron Cross was a Prussian military symbol, incl WW I, and the Nazi reuse of it generally added swastikas in the middle. Back in the ~60s-70s the non-Nazi version was occasionally popular with bikers on WW-I-style helmets, and I think some surfer iconography as well.

here's a bonus trivia question: why did some bikers and some surfers like to wear iron crosses? (a: because it's a nazi symbol and wearing it was being edgy and provocative)
-
Here an extra bonus trivia question. It's only a Nazi symbol with a swastika in the middle, as it was a military decoration from 1800s when Nazi Germany didn't exist.
-
yeah but then nazi Germany did start to exist, and they adopted the iron cross, so I'm not sure what your point is. It became a nazi symbol when they started awarding it to nazis

So of Isis adopt the Victoria cross and start handing it out to handing it out to jihad that makes it a Isis symbol, in your eyes it does.
-
yes, now you're getting it
-
also the idea that ISIS would somehow conquer England but would keep all the monarchical traditions in place is amusing to me looking forward to ISIS knights and the ISIS Order of the Garter, the Tower of ISIS, etc.

that giant ferris wheel would become "The Eye Of al-Baghdadi" also ISISingham Palace

Lmao unlikely. Navy cross, iron cross, his tattoo. Clearly the circular shape rather than square shape of the iron cross. Facts just ruin everything don’t they?pic.twitter.com/1cDdExRzMk
