Sometimes I typo musl as mudl, and I actually had a project called muddle once I should perhaps dig up and release.
As the name suggests the intended use was as a mud client, but it also worked as a dumb, single-window/channel IRC client.

That sounds cool. One of my favorite unreleased side projects was a simple TCP server that echoed whatever was sent to all other connections. It was called mayhemd because that's what chatting over it was. (You could send ANSI escape codes and mess with your friends' consoles.)

I think it used libevent or libev, but all of that networking code got lost so I have to rewrite it
