How are laptops with only USB-C supposed to be usable? Nowhere to attach rigid, 90%-internal devices like thumb drives & mouse dongles.
It's not a matter of ecosystem shift. There's fundamentally no way USB-C can meet these physical usability constraints.

I disagree. There are USB-C flash drives, and if there aren't USB-C receivers for wireless mice, there probably will be soon. As far as I'm concerned, the sooner USB-A and -B connectors die, the better.

It's not whether they exist. It's whether they can have acceptable physical ux. I don't see how they can.

I'm figuring out how to cope with this on the newer MacBook Pro. 2 USB-C ports and one is pretty much dedicated to power? adapter and dongle hell.
