Surprised that resident error stayed the same even with a reduction in interruptions. Do you think the trend would be the same for other specialties such as IM? It would be hard to advocate for a triage assistance if error rate is unchanged.

Interstingly, number of phone calls decreases significantly when the institution doesn’t have residents. I’ve had one bogus consult in 6 months.
