What you describe here resonates with my experience standing up against some of the old judokas in Australia, dudes who've been black belts for *decades*. They moved through me like they didn't care that I was there. Like I wasn't, even.

The only thing I’ve ever been able to do this with is making coffee and tea in the morning. But it doesn’t take as long as you’d think to reprogram for a new environment so I think that actually learning how to do this is itself a skill
