The "wait for the IEP" camp argues modifications with no IEP can result in Ss getting a certificate not diploma at grad Okay. Districts have no prob granting diplomas to illiterate students w and w/o IEPs every spring. Will you be part of the problem or part of the solution?

I can’t wait for the protests from the Senate GOP the next time one of their colleagues retires and goes on a corporate board they’re not qualified for.

I want to live in a country where (1) alternative facts do not exist, (2) integrity matters, (3) corruption is rare, and (4) representatives put country over party. Who can direct me to that place?

Yep. So many parents are opting to homeschool because they’re sick and tired of how the public schools are failing their kids. What next? Will they fight against parents’ rights to homeschool?

On Tuesday night, a crook who - broke the law - tried to cover it up - got caught - ignored subpoenas - hid witnesses - hid documents - GOT IMPEACHED - threatened Senators Will stand before the nation trying to sell a narrative that he's innocent. AND NOBODY WILL BELIEVE HIM.

True for , recent due process filings have all been against students of color with a disability. Shame on and board member for allowing this.

Will I ever rejoin the GOP? No. Trump will leave office some day (I hope!), but he will leave behind a quasi-authoritarian party that is as corrupt as he is. The failure to call witnesses in Trump’s impeachment trial revealed the GOP’s moral failure.

But why are parents scrambling to get out of traditional public schools? Nobody is delving into WHY. If things were so great, people would choose to stay put. Why would they want to leave? WHY?

I’m going out to protest now. One guy holding a “Criminal Trump” sign on a snowy corner. What difference can it make? Not sure. But I’m reminding every person walking or driving by that apathy is our ememy.

“Rarely, if ever, has a political blood oath—in this case, a pledge to acquit a crooked President regardless of the evidence against him, and without even bothering to call any witnesses—rebounded so horribly, publicly, and spectacularly.”

Wow. Historian John Meacham told Brian Williams, when asked to assess the level of Trump's power after Senate Republicans took step 1 in voting that only the electorate can remove him but he can use his power to rig the election, that Trump is now "functionally a monarch."

Jefferson once said: “I consider trial by jury as the only anchor yet imagined by man by which a government can be held to the principles of its Constitution.” Remove that anchor, and we are adrift. But if we hold fast, if we put our faith in the truth, This storm will pass.
