Using a combination of chemically defined media (by fantastic @mattpiperlab), isotope resolved #metabolomics (great collaboration with @OMaddocks @UofGlasgow) and the power of #Drosophila we map the metabolic interactions of Acetobacter pommorum and #Lactobacillus plantarum.
