I disagree because I've seen it in my area. Parents have spending power so schools for kids with varied abilities have been opened. That's why I believe the more money you put in the hands of parents the bigger pool of schools will open.

I agree about “funding the student”. But the advocacy isn’t geared toward students w/disabilites & mostly toward disadvantaged students. Additionally, the funding in many places wouldn’t cover the annual expenses many parents would need

I believe that the more providers that become available the cost would go down. It's not that I don't think that public schools should provide free and appropriate public education. I think they should and they should be held accountable for not doing so. However, the cost of

forcing them to do so is as cost prohibitive as most if not all private schools. That's why we either need to change the SpEd laws, change how we educate and change how we fund. Personally, I would change all three because ultimately it should be what's best for kids.

You can't learn to do math if the state follows common core because the majority of math is taught with word problems. If you can't read how can you do the math?

You also have to answer the problem in written language with correct spelling or it’s wrong. So a simple problem 2+2=4 will be wrong if you wrote to plus to equals for.

Correct and I as a dyslexic person can't tell my to, too and two apart most of the time. Just like when I type on a virtual key board and the i and o are next to each other my if, of and off get mixed up. Don't ask me why I can't explain it but it's a constant problem.
