I say do away with the party system. It spawns lazy voters and lazier politicians. If you vote for local judges/school board members you have no party to follow. You have to do your homework. Should be the same for all political positions.
I left the Dem Party because they abandoned a hardworking dedicated union leader who fought for better working conditions & raises. I’m a retired educator of 26 yrs, Union leader, and a student of 40 yrs w/o a student loan.
