I'm building @PostgreSQL extension module packages against 12beta1. More packages than usual have problems, and unlike with past major releases, there are many different problems. The only thing in many packages is tests failing because of the more precise floating point output.

Yes, the floating-point thing was always inevitable (I had to add extra_float_digits=0 to quite a few core and contrib regression tests). Many regression tests can be made to pass by just putting PGOPTIONS="-c extra_float_digits=0" in the environment
