I can think of several examples where it can change the results, but generally they involve hidden dependencies between query terms (e.g. having both (c1 > 1) and (c2/(c1 - 1) > 0) conditions, where the second can error if the first is false).
Which index would break that?
for example, WHERE t1.c1 > t2.min1 AND (t1.c2/(t1.c1 - 1)) > t2.min2 is easily broken by an index on t2.min2, even if all values of t2.min1 are >= 1.
