A surplus is nothing to cheer about and is the wrong measuring stick for a successful economy. The fact that the political class taxed us more than they spent is not a good thing. Jobs, GDP, and population growth are all that really matter - and RI fails miserably on those 3.

Have to spend to put everything back that was stopped, cut and dismantled. On the National Budget. However I don't agree on spending. These budgets haven't dented what past Presidents deficits have done with no results.
