@TeamYouTube For a long while I get this marvelous thing that is auto 720p quality that is 720p for the first second, then drops to 144p quality even if it stays at "auto (720)" so I have to click to change it to 720p, that then loads with no issue.

Also: it's quite annoying to pause for a bit and when I unpause it has to take several seconds with the loading wheel. Or it says it got a buffer built up but if I click in the middle of buffered I need to wait for it to rebuffer and reload.

We'd like to know more. What device is this happening on? Have you checked other devices to see if it's happening there too? Let us know so we can get started on some troubleshooting steps.

Windows 10 Home 1803 64-bits. On a Waterfox, it already happened months ago when I had the latest Firefox. I've barely used other browsers to watch YT so I don't know if it happens in the others. I will be doing it to get back at you with the info. Thanks.

Thanks for the info. Have you tried clearing the browser's cache & cookies to see if that fixes the issue? Here's how: https://goo.gl/e2dYZt . Also, try using Incognito mode to check if that makes any difference.

I didn't try the clear cache specifically for this, I believe it still happened after clearing cache as I did for other reasons, but I can't be sure. I will be testing. Tonight or tomorrow I'll be back with the results.

LOL as everytime I report a bug or issue with anything, since the moment I mentioned it, videos behave perfectly as they should.
