When I had 30K subscribers nobody would even send me free products.
@lexarmemory @westerndigital and @Seagate were the only ones to ever bet on me.
I don’t think I got a paid sponsorship until I had 60K...
Some of you are so wildly impatient that its staggering...

Even then I wondered if the audience would object to the brand relationships. I rarely did them and always tried to make sure they fit. I’ve probably turned down over $150,000 in deals over the years... because they weren’t a good fit.

Build your brand, and the rest will follow... Do you know how I made money the first 3 years on YouTube, 2 of which an MCN was taking 50% of my money? I had CLIENTS!!! I hustled, and even now I make most of my money outside of ads and sponsors.

Here's the problem, you have teeny tiny content creators with just over a thousand subscribers, (probably botted), thinking that once they get monetized they'll start earning the big bucks, which is not at all true. You see them everyday @'ing team YouTube
