And I suppose forcibly retracting the foreskin is a proper means of "cleaning the genitals"?

U won't believe how many self-proclaimed "intactivists" actually support ritual genital mutilation (eg forcible retraction). #i2

Why do you think the foreskin isn't meant to retract? It's true that retracting it early can lead to damage, but that won't happen if it retracts naturally. Just for the record, by the age of 16, 99% of boys can retract their foreskin. It's completely natural.

The foreskin is not supposed to retract. It is called phimosis.

      Replying to @TakeThatMorals @LyraSAndPan and

Phimosis is natural in children, and clears up by the age of 17 in over 99% of men, most are retractile around puberty. Phimosis after that age isn't right and needs correcting, this can be done with steroidal creams and stretching (look into phimocure) in 80% of cases.

      Replying to @ReyosB @TakeThatMorals and

Forced retraction on children however causes another kind of phimosis, this one not due to natural tightness and connection of tissues, which clears, but due to scar tissue, forcing the foreskin back before it's ready causes tears in it, these tears scar over and those scars >>

2> don't grow like normal foreskin will as the boy ages, so it stays tight, those are the ones that usually need surgery, perhaps even circumcision to fix, but they were caused by injury due to improper care, not by being intact.

Wow, first the idea that I am pro RIC is laughable, look at my actual telegram, tell me just how much of that is pro cutting. Second acquired phimosis is different from congenital phimosis, acquired phimosis requires surgery to correct, it's scar tissue that needs removal. >>

2> Congenital phimosis is due to the tissues not loosening as they should have as the boy ages, all infants are phimotic, the sphincter is too small at birth to properly allow for retraction, in addition to the synechia fusing the glans to the foreskin at birth. That DOES clear>>

Yeah because you don't actually understand the normal state of the adult penis is not phimotic, that foreskin is meant to retract if it weren't sex would be pretty damned injurious to most men as the thrusting forces retraction. Look just admit you're wrong, or a troll, and go.
