Hello from Europe. Can someone please explain to me how opposing circumcision has become associated with Nazism in America? Thanks. With love, from Europe (where nobody is circumcised and men are better).

At least that's the way the logic works for people who say it, as if the only reason you could be against mutilating baby boys is because you hate the Jewish people who are required by their faith to mutilate baby boys.
-
I seeeee Ok thank you that was the “logical” pathway I was failing to grasp, thank you. And wow that requires some mental gymnastics.

Yup, I'm usually just called islamophobic or antisemitic, depending which group the person is a member of, but have been called a nazi a few times. I keep saying I have no problem with a person's faith as long as that faith doesn't make them violate the rights of another person
-
I was raised Catholic but have been agnostic since age 20. I support everyone's right to have and practice whatever religious beliefs they want, as long as they're not violating anyone else's rights.
-
It infuriates me that Catholics don't read either the New Testament or Paragraph 2297 of the Catechism of the Catholic Church where it clearly states that
#circumcision is against the moral law. -
Galatians 5 It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. 2 Mark my words! I, Paul, tell you that if you let yourselves be circumcised, Christ will be of no value to you at all. >>
-
2>3 Again I declare to every man who lets himself be circumcised that he is obligated to obey the whole law. 4 You who are trying to be justified by the law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace.
