Well of course, there weren't any real medical benefits that stood up to scrutiny, and they even had to admit they didn't know the risks, so they needed SOMETHING to justify the lie and the defense of mutilation. Being a medical body they had NO BUSINESS commenting on faith.

Also don't say infant. 70% of all circumcision world wide is done on boys, five years old to twelve. This is when Muslim circumcision is done. It's still wrong to mutilate them too.
