If only we had a legal structure that could be used to deal with people who have accumulated too much debt....
It's not an argument which is going to sway the plethora of people burdened by said debt.https://twitter.com/baseballcrank/status/1120398471247409152 …

Are there more of them than there are people who have paid off loans? Seems important to an envy-based candidacy. If you spent 2004-now paying off $100K at 5% ($800/month) you’re $355K poorer than if you’d invested that money in the S&P 500.

You mean the plethora of people who willingly took out said loans and then wasted the $$$ on useless, crap majors and then decided to blame the loan giver rather than pay back the loan.

Wait, why don't we have them build the wall as a way to discharge their debt. Let's be generous with OPM to the tune of $50k/year plus meals and boarding. 37 million students would be debt free in a year.

You mean people who are getting free stuff don't care how much others are paying for said free stuff?

I mean these people vote and aren't compelled by positions such as yours.
