I’ve spent a career fighting for access to affordable health care for all. Today, as the Supreme Court hears oral arguments to consider a Trump Administration rule that allows employers to take away birth control coverage, we must remember that reproductive care is healthcare.
The ACA’s birth control benefit provides contraceptive coverage for more than 62 million women, more than half of which are Latinas and Black women. Access to birth control is not only a right but an engine to economic mobility to which we must preserve access.
It's odd that the very people that want to "prevent abortions" are the same ones pushing lawsuits that would increase the number of abortions.
