As a Black father in this country, I fear for the safety of my own children and if their names will be added to the long list of young people that we’ve lost to senseless gun violence.
We must demand that local officials conduct a thorough investigation and demand accountability for all injustices. The fight for equal justice is long and tiresome, but necessary now more than ever.
