Why is @LeaderHoyer on CNN saying he knows we’re not going to get the $3.5 trillion Dems want. Republicans never do that. Corporations get everything they want, but when it comes to working, low-income & poor ppl, Dems don’t expect to get what we need. $3.5T isn’t even enough!

I said this in 2018 and got blasted for it. My position remains the same today. Dems don't fight; they settle. There are MANY Dem representatives that need to go. I'm okay starting with Hoyer.

Because Dems are not on the side of working, low-income & poor people - they're also on the side of corporations. 139 Dems voted AGAINST cutting the Pentagon budget by 10% and only 92 voted for the cut. That money could have solved the homelessness crisis two times over.

Hoyer keeps undermining Pelosi and the Democrats position. One could argue that this is on purpose to get Democrats angry and lined up behind Pelosi's proposals, but it's an unforced error that allows GOP to think they can get Dems to cave on their demands.

What's also ignored is that the House already passed a CARES Act successor in May. Had Senate passed, we wouldn't be in this position with millions unemployed and worried about going homeless or without meals or both.
