I'm not sure where you live but coming from a place like New York State it's scary to think of elections without the electoral college. It would take the political environments of NY & CA to a national scale, which would hugely stifle any minority views on any array of issues.

Appreciate your words of encouragement. It’s hard to not pull my hair out watching this sham trial knowing that this is what a broken system produces. I have called my senators. I am registered voter and I encourage those around me to vote as well.

Now would be the time for Obama’s voice of reason. If he has as much clout as we believe, he should start a dialogue. This is not normal so the ‘Past POTUS let the current the POTUS be President’ creed should be tossed out. He’s suspiciously quiet.
