No one can shoot down cruise missiles... Especially when dozens of them are fired together on the same target...

Unless they are launched from a submarine, or from aircrafts flying in a allied air space close enough from the target, Cruise missiles do not need to be guided, they are robots, not drones, dear Russian troll...

Who cares, dear Russian Troll? There are enough allied air spaces around Syria for Air forces to launch dozens of cruise missiles close enough to the target. No need at all to enter the Syrian air space. I guess Putin-the-Butcher won't bomb Saoudia or Turkey to retaliate. No?

I don’t recall Putin saying he would only retaliate to aggressors over Syrian air space.

The point is "Aircrafts do not need a platform to operate." They can use something like 200 airfields in allied countries of this aera to take off, climb to the near Syrian border, launch their missiles and being back home even before the missiles hit the target.

I ask again, Putin willl he bomb Turkey, Irak or Jordania to reliatate? Not to mention the many other countries the flights could operate from to the syrian border.Even Western Europe with refueling.... Is Putin ready to bomb a Nato air force base in Spain or in UK?

That better be the only thing they do. If they attack US military, that is an attack on NATO. An attack on one member of NATO is an attack on all of NATO.

How about America stand down? We, I'm American, are the ones acting aggressively and war mongering in other countries territories. We have no business in Syria. Russia has been a Syrian ally since forever and has had a base in Syria since 1971. They were invited.
