I notice the 4.7uF organics in those shots seem to indicate they are 10V. Are they not meant to be 35V as per the originals?
Well noticed :-) no 10v is enough as that circuit only goes up to around 6v. High voltage on caps does not mean that is what the voltage is on the circuit :-)

Interesting, I've not got round to measuring the circuit. Strange how C= used 35V caps, rather than lower value 10V ones then.

Cost, it’s all down to cost sometimes it’s cheaper to buy a higher voltage than one that is just above what you need...
