Goldmaking tip, put your mind in the buyer's shoes. Some people don't buy from people that have obvious banker names, undercut by just 1 copper, and enjoy buying larger stacks even if they pay more! Interesting seeing players thoughts herehttps://us.forums.blizzard.com/en/wow/t/as-a-buyer-on-the-ah/96311 …

I’ve only read the first sentence and I’m already responding ... because you said something important. “Put yourself in the buyers shoes.” Buyers make gold! That is key! It’s Not exactly item worth. Now I will continue to read! :P

Read a good bunch of answers. Looks like mostly circlejerking people saying "I am the good guy I support the economy by buying to special snowflakes like me". I loathe these self rubbing and full of lies posts. In the end they all buy the cheapest OR the pretty stacks, c'mon...

I value keeping prices at a cerain level over catering to crazy people, so I will stick to undercutting by 1c. But the banker name is something I have always kept in mind. I see a lot of players named "Givemeyourgold" and things like that which doesn't seem like a good idea.

And I also obviously take advantage of the people who are willing to pay extra for neat stacksizes 😉

Buying the higher priced item as a form of protest against 1c undercutting is ridiculous, because odds are the person who did the 1c undercut didn't even do it consciously (TSM) and definitely didn't notice the missed sale. Just silly, tbh.

Agree completely, but it's important to know these people do exist. Doesn't hurt to bump it to 10c for a few extra sales ;)

I buy whatever is cheapest. I don’t care about the characters name because typically it’s a mule character to hold stuff anyway. Also, if someone undercut someone by a gold or whatever, I think as a buyer “I just saved 1 gold” That’s my stance as a buyer.

You can overprice an item on one toon, post the same item on another and people will avoid the price gouger not realising you get paid either way. I made over 1M doing that with drums for the mage tower.
