A month ago Paramount filed a copyright claim on one of my videos. I disputed it. They rejected my dispute. I filed an appeal, which, if rejected, would give my channel a copyright strike. Anyway I FINALLY heard back, and after reviewing my appeal, Paramount released the claim

The whole issue of copyright is a constant frustration when doing film criticism on YouTube. At the end of the day the studios can just decide you don’t get to make money even if you’re following fair use guidelines. So this comes as a big relief.

The issue with that is that there’s no consequence for them for getting it wrong. And there should be, because you just lost a month of revenue because of it. They essentially stole that from you. That’s what pisses me off about @TeamYouTube’s garbage copyright system.
