He’s thinking about the future, what humanity has in front of them, what’s to come and is in pursuit of that. Almost nobody is doing that atm (handful are but not much). This is vital to preserve, even in times of dire situations like right now. (this is all my opinion btw)

What does humanity have in front of them? What IS to come? What are you talking about?Elon musk is not the reincarnation of jesus christ, dude. He's just one man. Who is yes, passionate. But also very rich and uses that influence on people who are vunerable and scared.

There is much to be discovered and explored that our life here on Earth could be minuscule in terms of mankind’s potential. We have the technology to become a species capable of migrating out of our home planet, but most who have the means to make this reality aren’t interested
