One year ago today, on #January6th, the world seemingly stopped as rioters stormed our nation’s Capitol in an attempt to overthrow democracy. A monument built to preserve unity & integrity became a crime scene at the hands of cowardly citizens whose main intent was to divide us.

While we witnessed our democracy temporarily teeter during the #January6thInsurrection, we also witnessed it withstand. This day should serve as a reminder that the U.S. is still the strongest nation and anyone who threatens the sanctity of its democracy will be held accountable.

The coup is still going on. So far, our democracy has stopped no one in power who was and is accountable from continuing to push us headlong down the road towards fascism.

The group who threatened your democracy are in government,still denying voting rights,spreading the lies,and Fox in on the governing of the "strongest NB ation". Holding the them accountable I don't think so.

Thanks for all you do, Rep. Wilson. I'm not persuaded yet about the real miscreants and organizers being held accountable, though I remain hopeful. It's a very discouraging last chapter or two in my own life; I hope my grandkids survive in something resembling their country.
