I was called a bad mom and selfish because I was trying to finish my masters and a screenplay at the same time. If I were a man I would be called cool and ambitious. It made me sick how absolutely ignorant and sexist people were, and to some extent, still are.

Hearing that kind of stuff chaps my butt. Had been paying my bills, doing my own taxes, & balancing my checkbook for 10+ yrs. Got married & suddenly too dumb to do any of that. Fast forward 10 yrs & I'm doing it all for the family. Guess that college degree means I'm not stupid
