110,000 acres are on fire in Southern California and 200,000 people have been evacuated. Fires will continue to get worse each wildfire season unless we act. Now is the time to pass the Resilient Federal Forests Act. I call on the Senate to take up this bill. cc: @NatResourcespic.twitter.com/cOXrCJrI7A

It Is Time to Pass the Resilient Federal Forests ActThe House passed this bill on November 1, following a record wildfire season with millions of acres going up in smoke and ash. Just this week, fires have flared up again in southern California.

How about treating these fires as the natural disaster they are and fund them as such instead of depleting the forest service funding which could be used to prevent these fires.

The Resilient Federal Forests Act would do just that.
