110,000 acres are on fire in Southern California and 200,000 people have been evacuated. Fires will continue to get worse each wildfire season unless we act. Now is the time to pass the Resilient Federal Forests Act. I call on the Senate to take up this bill. cc: @NatResourcespic.twitter.com/cOXrCJrI7A

Thomas Fire started on county land, and after he Santa Ana winds stopped, the fire reversed and burned up onto the Los Padres. Wilson Fire was a couple months ago. Both are burning, or burnt in chapparell. Not timber.

I read and fully support your bill. I watched the voting and amendments. But not all damaging fires are starting solely on federal lands. All the October fires in Northern CA all started on state and county.
