I along with many others want the same Health Care coverage that "You" Congressman Westerman have !! Make that work for Arkansans.
Everyone says that, but they speak without knowing the truth: I am on Obamacare. I know how bad it is because I have it, as does my family and staff. I don't use talking points, I speak from experience. Thanks for reaching out, but I guess we'll have to agree to disagree.
If you think it's really that bad, Just think how bad it is for the people that never had an option before , and how bad it will be for you when it is your constituents that will lose coverage, Do a townhall, and you will see!
I have held many events with constituents and have heard their stories about how their premiums have increased to unaffordable levels and how they can't use their coverage because of sky-high deductibles. What good is insurance if you can't afford to use it?
Do a townhall, not Coffee with a congressman, you should be embarrassed at the lack of enthusiasm for very many to show up at something like that. Those that do are just going to pat you on the back and tell you what a good job you are doing. Do a Townhall.
I have held a variety of events across #ar4. Some have high attendance, others do not. I take questions from my constituents and engage with them, just like I am doing with you right now. Not everyone agrees with me, just like you don't. Why do you think only supporters show up?
The following video is a prime example of supporters and non-supporters participating in a "Coffee with your Congressman." This is exactly what you've been asking me to do.https://www.facebook.com/RepWesterman/videos/1018794581588992/ …
Hot Springs would be a better site for something like this, Set it up congressman, and I'll be there
Well then, How many times did you vote to repeal, with no plan in hand to replace? How many taxpayer dollars were spent in each attempt?Sure the law wasn't perfect. You've had seven years or better to work in a bipartisan manner to fix what wasn't working
