I was raised in the church and by my parents to treat every person with dignity and respect, and that every child is precious. The Don’t Say Gay bill will rip the soul out of these children. It’s unforgivable. Laws are created to protect people. This bill only hurts.

The Don’t Say Gay bill is cold blooded, vicious, designed to silence, to shame, to attack.
Think of all the good that we could accomplish in this world without those who seek to inflict harm on the innocent.
Harvey Milk said “hope will never be silent.” We will not be silenced.

I made the mistake of reading some of the comments to heartfelt and on-point condemnation of the "Don't Say Gay" bill.
There is an underbelly of American existence that thrives on ignorance and hatred. It makes me sad.

It is straight up discrimination and needs to be VETOED before precious souls are hurt! Please help us get it gone!

As a teacher I don’t think I could EVER turn a child in for being LGBTQ and believe me I have had conversations that go back 35 years.

I wish I lived in Florida so I could vote for you.
Luckily my gay daughter and her gay fiancee live there now, and will be voting for you!
