I strongly support the Biden Administration's declaration of a public health emergency for monkeypox, an important step to ensure we can marshal every resource to stop the spread of this virus and protect those at greatest risk — particularly the LGBTQ+ community. (1/2)

Monkeypox must be airborne. The CDC keeps flip-flopping on this point BUT the case numbers are rising quickly and *exponentially* both in the US and across the World. This virus is NOT primarily a "gay problem."
